Paddy's Fishermans Cottage is a renovated cottage nestled on a small working farm. The location on a hill above LOUGH CURRANE allows for breathtaking views of the lake and the adjacent valleys and mountains of Kerry.

The area is beautiful - the KERRY WAY runs nearby and offers opportunities for longer walks. Waterville with its supermarkets, restaurants and typical Irish pubs is about 5 km away. A long sandy beach, two golf courses and several small shops complete the offering in Waterville. In just a few minutes you can reach Lough Currane, famous for fly fishing for salmon and sea trout. Boat trips to the famous SKELLIG Islands (which have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996) start from the small harbor town of PORTMAGEE (approx. 25km) or from Derrynane.

Just a 20-minute drive along the stunning WILD ATLANTIC WAY coastline takes you to the beautiful sandy beach and Derrynane National Park.

The entrance area leads to the well-equipped kitchen with the dining table in front of a large opening to the living room. That way you can also enjoy the wonderful view of Lough Currane through the panoramic window in the living room from the kitchen. The bright living room is the ideal place to relax with its stunning view of the lake and comfortable seating in front of the fireplace. A glazed terrace door leads from here into the garden in front of the house.

The cottage has three small bedrooms (two of which have a fantastic view) and a main bathroom with a bathtub and open shower (wheelchair accessible). It offers enough space for up to 5 people.
